Lela Rose Highland Park
In the heart of Highland Park, Texas, the Lela Rose flagship boutique brings fashion and interiors together through a richly layered exploration of colour, texture, material, and craft.
Designed by Studio DB and built by Maple Wood Group, the space feels distinctly individual, balancing the refinement of a luxury retail environment with an inviting sense of warmth and discovery.
Throughout the boutique, unexpected materials create a dialogue between architecture and fashion. Sculptural terracotta block walls introduce rhythm and transparency, while intricate mosaic tile, patterned textiles, natural woodwork, and carefully collected objects add personality. Curved forms soften the architecture, guiding visitors through a series of intimate spaces that reveal themselves gradually.
Setting the tone throughout is Northern Wide Plank New Haven European Oak. Specified in 180 mm (7-1/8") wide planks in Character Grade from the Wixom Collection, the flooring reveals the natural variation and distinctive markings of European Oak.
Its subtle variation and warm tone sit comfortably alongside intricate tilework, dark textiles, sculptural objects, and detailed millwork, providing a natural counterpoint to the boutique’s more expressive elements and bringing balance to the overall composition.
Much like the fashion it houses, the boutique demonstrates the impact of thoughtful composition and attention to detail.
